The University of Cooperative Education has two locations, Eisenach and Gera. Eisenach offers short distances, reasonably-priced living costs and a lively cultural scene. Gera, the third largest town in Thuringia, combines ideal study conditions with diverse culture and leisure opportunities.
Gera and Eisenach both are green oases in day-to-day student life where students relax in the sun and get some exercise. Cooldown in a green environment—every day.
Each semester is divided into a theory part at the university which creates the basis for a practical part at the student’s predefined company. Thus, a great variety of experiences and first class practical insights are guaranteed. Within the context of projects and the final Bachelor’s thesis, concrete operational tasks are solved with scientific methods. Financial independence during the studies is ensured by the training allowance. Usually, 90 percent of the students are taken on by their company directly after their graduation.
